Tipplesplitters Success!

After 3 weeks of not raiding ToC 10 due to lack of attendance, my smaller 10-man guild went into ToC-10 today.

Of the people who attended:
* 1 had never seen the place.
* 3 had only seen Beasts + Jaraxxus; we got stuck at Faction Champions on our last attempt.

After being essentially cursed in getting started, we finally walked in, 2 hours late, at 10:45…

And at 11:55, we skinned Anub’s corpse.

We didn’t wipe a single time. We only had 4 total deaths — all but one recovered via battle rez. Faction Champions went down in 2 minutes 45 seconds; three times faster than the 10-heroic team in DHS got them down in normal this week.

We picked up four PUG players — two healers, Nosir and Drajl, who were both awesome, and two DPS, Ahann and Rhyliad, who helped to make the night the success it was.

Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better evening of raiding ToC (other than it starting an hour or so earlier ;)). We were just on, on every fight. Faction Champions went down like butter, Twin Valks were twin corpses, and every aspect of the Anub’arak fight went as planned.

It. Was. Epic.

The Diplomat dropped; I let it go to the other hunter in the group, since the DPS change from Giant’s Bane on the spreadsheet was 5dps, not even worth worrying about gemming/enchanting.
